Greek Palmettes Infinity Scarf from The Met Museum

The pattern on our scarf recalls the ornament on an ancient Greek terracotta amphora (ca. 540 B.C.) in The Met collection. This extraordinary black-figure jar is attributed to Exekias, probably the greatest black-figure artist of his day. The jar’s character is evident in its robust shape and the extraordinary precision of its decoration.
