Original BTC | Glass School Pendant Light Size 2 – Polished Brass / Antracite Glass

Founded in 1885 in London’s West India Docks, Davey & Co’s marine lighting and hardware graced many of history’s best-known vessels. As Britain’s maritime heyday faded, Davey & Co used the skills honed manufacturing deck lights, saloon and navigation lanterns to launch Davey Lighting. Davey’s hand-made fixtures were snapped up by the world of architecture and design, taking pride of place in locations such as the Savoy Hotel.
Davey Lighting’s iconic School Light form has been repurposed in anthracite, opal and clear glass, giving the classic design a new and fresh dimension. Now available in two sizes, each glass shade is hand blown in our glass factory, and fitted with an attractive brass or weathered brass chain and ceiling rose. The anthracite and clear glass shades show off the filament exposed light bulb, a trend that continues to evolve.
