Gubi | Satellite Pendant

Inspired by the scientific progress of the age, designer Mathieu Matégot created the Satellite Pendant in 1953 to emulate the objects making their way into the atmosphere. The Satellite Pendant is formed from a series of Matégot’s signature Rigitulle metal pieces bent and folded into an almost origami-like shape. With draping pieces connected into an oblong shape and capped with a halo of solid metal, the Satellite Pendant looks like it blooms from the ceiling as it emits a warm and welcoming glow. Hang the Satellite Pendant alone in entryways or dining rooms, or group pendants together to create a cloud of light fixtures.
