Best grown in hardiness zones 3-11, Angelina Stonecrop garden plants are extremely easy to grow, and are known to be very drought tolerant. These flowering perennials can thrive in sandy to gravelly soils of moderate to low fertility, making them perfect for rock gardens. It is important that they have well-draining soil perform well as they do not like wet roots. They prefer soils in full sun for optimal growth but tolerate some light shade. In colder climates, the Angelina’s foliage turns a charming orange color that brings about color and winter interest to a landscape. The Sedum’s needle like foliage and star shaped yellow flowers make for a beautiful statement wherever they’re planted. These fun landscape plants are most commonly used for container gardens, as flowering borders or as a ground cover plant. Additionally, this plant’s full form and bright color makes it a gorgeous addition to hanging baskets.
