Our wallpaper line is a collaboration with artist/designer/friend/long-time-partner Alyson Fox, and is a study in pattern, shape, and repetitive story.Rubbings is a callback to stone frottage; the practice of creating impressions on paper laid over patterns etched in rock. We love the splotchy, unexpected shapes and the large-scale pattern of the design. A total “what is that?” moment for your walls.As with every design in our wallpaper collection, Rubbings comes in three colorways: Eggshell (a warmer take on neutral), Petal (a light grey over flax) and Faded Black (a well-worn dark background with a creamy pattern). Plays well with all sorts of colors, in all sorts of rooms.
