Louis Poulsen | Nyhavn Outdoor Wall Light – Copper

The clean retro look of the classic Nyhavn Outdoor Wall Light makes it not only suitable for outdoor use but indoors as well. Developed in 1976 the design has become an industry icon with a conical shade that produces a wide beam of downward light. Uniform light distribution is insured by the interior of the shade being a painted with a white matte finish. The three rings over the top of the shade capture any stray light and focus it back to the top of the shade for a gentle self-illumination effect. These rings are also what give the Nyhavn Outdoor Wall Light its glare free characteristics while providing a pleasing aesthetic expression.
