Succulent Plant Statement Necklace from The Met Museum

$175.00

This stylish necklace reimagines the petals of succulent plants in cast glass. Hardy succulents grow in pots throughout The Met Cloisters, the Museum’s branch devoted to the art and architecture of medieval Europe. In the Middle Ages, succulents held protective power and were recommended to plant on roofs to protect from storms and lightning. This eye-catching necklace was produced by Four Seasons Design Group, a family-run business based in Long Island, New York. The Met Store has sold the company’s unique jewelry designs, art-inspired reproductions, and home goods since 1969.
