Sachin & Babi Maelen Dress

Maelen is our urban prairie dress that can transform with a simple change of accessories, featured in cotton twill, the new 3 season fabric we have fallen in love with. An asymmetric envelope collar with micro ruffle detail, also seen at the seam of each tier,  elastic cuffs at the sleeve, and a banded waist contribute to the form and charm of this day dress. The patterned detail on the dress is created using a technique called “s hibori”, shibori dyeing techniques are deeply labor-intensive and are considered to be an ancient art form, and because of this each item will be unique, and no two will be identical.
