Midnight Garden Wooden Bowl from The Met Museum

Our elegant wooden bowl features sumptuous details from Fruit and Flowers (ca. 1630), one of the most ambitious still lifes painted by Orsola Maddalena Caccia (Italian, 1596-1676). Caccia was an artist of note in the Piedmont region of Italy where she lived and worked-she ran a successful studio that supported an Ursuline convent at Moncalvo.
