ACME Studio Kandinsky Pen from The Met Museum

$110.00

Our rollerball pen is based on a work in Vasily Kandinsky’s (Russian, 1866-1944) 1922 portfolio titled Kleine Welten (Small Worlds) , and presents a flurry of color and energy. An early and vigorous advocate for abstraction in art, Kandinsky developed a theory that nonfigurative forms and colors could express emotional and even spiritual ideals. The Met is pleased to collaborate with cult manufacturer ACME Studio on a series of pens celebrating works in our collection. Well known for its commitment to fine materials and high design, ACME specializes in innovative writing implements that take inspiration from the work of world-class designers, architects, and artists.
