The sequins, the shine, the big hair. For some, the 80’s were truly the best of ages. For us, it was the music. For some, it was the fashion. A decade marked by bold style, shocking colors, and rather strange silhouettes, the ’80s were a time to experiment with big and bold statements. Between the permed hair, the ripped tights, and leather, some of my all-time favorite bands made their mark, while women dressed for success in oversized blazers that… Beetlejuice is all I will say. Nevertheless, there were moments of true genius in ’80s style that still resonate in today’s fashion scene. Enjoy this photo homage to 80’s style.
